Visited yesterday with my partner as she’d recommended this place prior. The atmosphere was really nice. As it was a Saturday, It was quite busy but once we were seen to we got seated with no issues. Service was really good. We were given 5 minutes to look at the menu then they came over and took our orders. Drinks came out straight away and food took around 10-15 minutes to come out. I was super impressed. We ordered samosa chaat, crispy bhajia, hakka noodles, chilli chips and mirch masala special sizzler. Samosa chaat was okay, I wish there were more flavours happening rather than just yogurt. Crispy bhajia, wow. I truly recommend. They were really nice, crispy and huge portion. The hakka noodles, didn’t hit the mark for me. I wish there was a little more flavour - more heat and aromatics. Chilli chips were tasty and what you expect with chilli chips. But the show stopper was the the mirch masala special sizzler. I’d definitely recommend ordering the spices were spot on. I’d definitely revisit for the sizzler and the bhajia.

Mirch Masala in Leicester is a well-loved spot with a unique setup. The venue actually has two different stores. On weekends, there’s a makeshift stall outside that operates until 7pm. This pop-up offers a tempting range of street food and drinks, including chai, fresh coconut juice, sugar cane juice, and ice-cold cola. Snack lovers will find plenty to enjoy, from samosa chaat and ragda chaat to paneer chilli and vada pav, among other favourites. Personally, I’m a big fan of the ragda chaat, which is excellent value at just 6. The flavours are spot on and it’s always freshly made. Step inside, and you’ll find a full restaurant with stylish decor and a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere. The customer service is consistently warm and attentive, making it a great place for both casual meet-ups and family meals. Overall, Mirch Masala offers a fantastic experience whether you’re grabbing a quick bite at the weekend stall or dining in. I’ve always enjoyed my visits and would happily recommend it. Hope you have a great time if you decide to go!

Stopped in for dinner on our way from Leeds to London. Quiet Sunday night, but we were greeted with enthusiasm by Bhakti and Sneh. As a gluten-free vegan, I was very pleased to see a comprehensive allergen list. We ordered "too much" food on purpose, including a vegetable uttappam and tofu tikka masala (HIGHLY recommended, dry curry with excellent crispy tofu). THEY HAVE VEGAN FALOODA! Taking home what we couldn't eat, very pleased with the choice.
